Mission:   To celebrate pipe organs and  literature with live free performances by a variety of organists at a variety of churches.  As envisioned by founder Frank Rippl, the recitals will last one half hour during the lunch hour , taking place on Wednesdays through the summer at local churches in the larger Fox Valley area of Northeast Wisconsin.

Organist Frank Rippl, Appleton, began and designed the Lunchtime Organ Recital  series in 1994.   Frank served 41 years as Music Director and Organist, All Saints Episcopal Church, Appleton.

Frank brought together performers, selected church location choices, dates, and publicity, for the seasonal concert series.

Performers donate their time and churches donate the venue. Frank believed that the series be held, “free of charge”, with the  exceptione for an annual free will donation.

Frank’s wisdom, energy, and dedcation allowed the Lunchtime Organ Recital to grow and develop for 24 years.  Frank died in August 2018.  The Series continues with volunteer efforts which include his wife Carol Jegen,  friends and fellow organists.
